She has testified before Grand Juries, as well as in local, state, and federal criminal proceedings. Ms. Isom Malin has been qualified as an expert witness on child sex offender grooming behavior in United States District Court

This investigation had a world-wide impact resulting in numerous spin-off cases and the recovery of hundreds of child victims of child sexual abuse and online exploitation. The success of this case was documented in a true-crime series of the same name produced by Mothership Entertainment.

In addition to her vast experience leading and assisting in criminal investigations, Ms. Isom Malin has conducted research on numerous topics related to crimes against children and co-authored law enforcement guides and articles reflecting the results. As an FBI Adjunct Faculty Instructor, she provided instruction to hundreds of local, state, federal, and international law enforcement officers assigned to agencies responsible for protecting children. She served as Course Manager and faculty for the FBI’s now-accredited Criminal Investigative Analysis Training Program.
